Tasked with creating “Fun and Knowledge” (مرح ومعرفة), an educational board game for children developed for the National Human Rights Committee in Qatar, our team at Masar Design Agency brought together learning, play, illustration, and cultural storytelling in an engaging interactive experience. Inspired by classic race-and-climb games, players move through a colorful 100-square journey while encountering questions and activities centered on children’s rights, parents’ rights, and national identity through the “Qatar, My Country” category. Featuring vibrant characters, familiar Qatari landmarks, and a cheerful visual style, the game transforms important social and civic concepts into accessible, age-appropriate learning moments. From the game concept and visual direction to character illustration and final production, every element was carefully crafted to encourage participation, strengthen awareness, and help children learn through a memorable balance of fun, discovery, and meaningful family interaction.
